  • Four month commission as Interim General Manager at a major regional Council with an organisational review brief.
  • Independent facilitation for the investigation of collaboration and resource sharing opportunities between two Councils on the urban fringe of Sydney.
  • Facilitation of the strategic planning review of a successful customer-owned banking institution.
  • Design, consultation and development of the template General Manager’s Performance Agreement documentation for one of the pre-eminent local government recruitment firms.
  • Permanent commission as Administrator of Central Darling Shire Council on behalf of the NSW Office of Local Government following the suspension of the elected councillors for failing to deal with the financial difficulties of the Council. Conducted an organisational re-structure, an overhaul of services and service levels, implemented a new governance framework and returned the Council budget to a surplus position.
  • Appointment as an independent member of the Audit and Governance Committee of a major Sydney metropolitan Council.
  • Active in the preparation of over a dozen Improvement Plans for NSW Councils in response to the Fit for the Future program.
  • Conducting the annual performance review process for several NSW Council General Managers.
  • Acting as formal mentor for a young General Manager in the western districts of NSW.
